Project Connect

Edie volunteers bi-weekly at Project Connect, a special needs community hosted through Palm Beach Synagogue. She teaches members how to work with clay — guiding them through the meditative, tactile experience of hand-building and wheel throwing.

Through pottery, participants discover new ways to express themselves, build fine motor skills, and find pride in creating something beautiful with their own hands. For Edie, these sessions are as meaningful to her as they are to the community she serves.

Edie organizes charity pottery sales where every piece sold directly benefits causes she believes in. Her events bring together the local community around beautiful, handcrafted work — turning a love of art into tangible support for life-saving research.

Proceeds from sales have been donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and the Basser Center for BRCA at the University of Pennsylvania — organizations doing critical work to improve and save lives.
